About
- I am a physician (MD), scientist (PhD), Professor of Cardiac imaging, and Director of Clinical Imaging at the University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia.
- I am principal investigator for and lead the University of Sydney Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Group. Our research interests are focused on how the heart works, and how we can learn more about the heart using medical imaging. In particular, my interests include non-invasive cardiac imaging, MRI, CT, SPECT, echocardiography, electrocardiography (ECG), the diagnoses ischemic heart disease and heart failure, ischemic pathophysiology, and basic cardiac pumping physiology.

- My interests outside work include jogging, biking, hiking, skiing, male choir, SCUBA diving, paleolithic diet, and a fascination with emerging technologies.
