It's 2 AM. 15 of the 29 buddies I have in the category 'azn4life' are online. It's me and the koreans pumpin' out work into the late night.

I opted for the 5 point reduction on my paper so I could have an extra day. I definately added more that 5 points worth of content (I added about 5 of the 7 pages).

Last night I just couldn't push my body. It gave up. I think I've been spoiling it with too much sleep. Tonight I managed once again to achieve that fuzzy quasi-conciousness that enables me to work into the early hours. I shouldn't brag thou-- I skipped up on the philosophy assignment. I simply didn't have time. I'll do it tomorrow after school or during the weekend.

I've been fully engaged in the science fair work 110%. After break, There is going to be an intense 2 weeks of prep for that think where I will once again test the limits of my capacity. Fortunately a lot of things are out of the way now, so I can concentrate on science fair work, at least for a short while. It would be really awesome to get to go to ISEF to compete. My rig, when finished, shall look quite impressive. I guess I can only wait and hope and see. I don't want to be like Derek Jun was last year, going only for the trip and getting pissed eary on for not making the cut. That would be silly. I am however shooting hardcore for that trip. It would buy me time to enable a bunch of other features that would make me totally kick ass. I would have a month to improve without people like Meg Meehan stealing away Dr. Karuv for an entire Wednesday (she doesn't do senior experience mind you!) as he coded for her. I needed to wire some circuits that he won't let me do because he doesn't trust my Elec. skills, so she was totally cock-blocking. Groooss.

Last year I managed to go 100 hours with only 10 hours of sleep during the science fair extravaganza. True insanity. I went to bed between 3 and 4 for three or so days.

In honor of Valentine's Day, I am -seriously- looking for a girlfriend...just let me get through NJRSF so I can normalize (whatever that means.)

I really doubt I'm playing lacrosse. I'm gonna ski and do all those other things in life that I have to do. Like the treasure map. And install a compass in my car. And read.

All right, bed time. Just one more day of school until break. And there's an assembly, so it's shortened. woo.

I need to write more letters...these kind of letters.

on another note, mmmm... babies

Check out www.yourrevolutionisbanned.com for a really important FCC suit that is a perfect exemplification of the hypocricy of totalitarian commercialism (good use of the lingo, eh?) Seriously, read up on what the FCC has done to her song "your revolution", listen to the song, and prepare to get confused as hell as to why the song was banned.

A few months ago when I had just gotten back from Sweden, my dad found a CD-R on the street, on which the first track was a song that went "Stick it in my mouth, I said my motherfuckin' mouth...yea yea" I was so insulted and found it to be such a ludicrous song that I thought it was some sort of parody joke song. I brought the CD over to Erik's house one night when we were playing risk, and dave and evan had both heard of the song, making me aware that it had run on MTV and so forth.

Commercial culture sucks.

On an unrelated note, I uploaded all of my europe pictures -- check 'em out.

I was going to upload my ds essays, but I chose to work on my summer backpacking photos instead. I've narrowed it down to the 100 best, which will go online soon. I've got some other photos that I should be putting online. Then my pictures will be all online and I wont feel bad about being 7 months behind on the photo front. woo.

bedtime.

All right, so I posted the photos from my deep springs visit..enjoy. Check 'em out in the photography menu.

I've bought a lot of books lately, and I just taped a ruler next to my 'to read' pile, and told myself that I won't buy books unless the pile is less than 6 inches high. We'll see how long I hold myself to that. Right now it's about 10.

I'm gonna schedule some interviews this weekend for colleges. I don't know if I should call the places that haven't asked for me. They apparently don't love me. Everyone but me has recieved an interview call.

love love love.

I think I'll post all my DS essays later today.

gonna read read read.
